Happy Birthday Mary!!!

(and congratulations Lizzy!)

Sorry, I've been silent so long. Please don't start any rumors about me. After returning home from our Thanksgiving jaunt--to Cleveland, to Howe, IN, to Elkhart, to Meyersdale, PA, to Johnstown, PA--I was rather ill all last week with influenza. Which, of course Keith subsequently caught from me. As our friend Claire put it, "Ah, the joys of being married." We are recovering and hope to be able to sing at choir practice tonight. I'm trying to stop myself from wishing you all luck on your finals. For, alas, there are no finals. Just work, work, work.
I'm currently trying to decide if I want to apply to keep my current job in January. If I don't, I may have some unemployed time in which to travel, and see you folks. The week of January 12th...or something like that is rush week, and Keith will be busy...Also Keith and I want to make it to NYC sometime, and might get theatre tickets for Christmas.
k, i gotta go get ready for work. I'll be in touch.

She's alive!!! Hooray! Sorry about all the threats :) I was beginning to worry about your health, which I guess was in reason. I hope you two feel better!

Mary, Happy Birthday indeed! I hope you find a good way to celebrate in the box. You should email me your address because I only have the Catalpa Ct. one.

First-Mary Happy (Late) Birthday!

Laura, good to hear from you. I actually thought about you recently since I just finished The Amber Spyglass two days ago. (Laura B and I had an intense email argument about it--it was fun!) Hope you and Keith are feeling better and all is well in NY.

I'm alive too (so no threats, please :)). Thanks for the birthday wishes, dears. I'll write more soon, but I've had no luck with internet at home and have been going in to work at really early in the mornings to make deadlines (with the upcoming holidays and the fact that the issues don't skip a month, deadlines are crazier than usual!) so I don't usually stay late to sneak peek at my email. Well, today. Also, tomorrow is our Office Christmas Party. One of those. I will likely have some amusing incidences to report...

Speaking of office Christmas parties, Cristina do you have interesting incidences to report?
I might get a new-old computer this weekend, which will work more than sporadically, so I too should be better at this game soon.

I miss you all madly!
